UCC Visit to FUE

Five academic staff members from UCC (Dr. Cormac Gahan, Dr. Abina Crean, Dr. Tim O’Sullivan, Dr. Margaret Bermingham and Dr. Kevin Murphy) visited FUE during March 2019. This visit was under the agreement of both universities for a teaching collaboration between them. The five professors were involved in teaching the following subjects: Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry II, (level 1), Pharmaceutics I (level 2), Pharmacy Practice I (level 3), Pharmacotherapeutics I (level 4) and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (level 5). All of the staff members from UCC used interactive quizzes and the online student response systems (Socrative) during their lectures at FUE. Student participation with the quizzes and online MCQ questions was high with positive feedback was received from the students.
