A Value-for-Money and Statistical Analysis for Public-Private Partnerships for Renewable Energy Projects in Egypt
Project description:
One of Egypt’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals is to increase the number of renewable energy projects to sustain the needs of the growing population. In order to do so, public-private partnerships have been sought to deliver these projects. This project studies renewable energy PPPs in Egypt to report on their use and financial viability, as well as provide a framework for their application in the future. The successful implementation of this project will have a great impact on the Egyptian economy, on the number and scale of PPP projects delivered, renewable energy services available, as well as significant social impact on the people. Moreover, it will support Egypt’s 2030 vision and enable the successful delivery of sustainable developments. This research promotes the Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) defined by the United Nations, with a focus on the clean energy goals.
