On 12th January 2022, Dr. Ebada Sarhan, President of Future University in Egypt (FUE) and Dr. Ghada Khalil, Director of Rowad 2030 Project at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MODE), signed a collaborative protocol between FUE and MPDE.
The protocol was signed on the sideline of the activities of the World Youth Forum held in Sharm El-Sheikh during the period from 10-13 January 2022 and in the presence of Dr. Noha Al Shaarawy, Head of the Career Path and Entrepreneurship Committee at the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration.
The protocol aims to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment among young people, through the "One Million Entrepreneurs Campaign", By allocating several grants to FUE students on the Million Entrepreneurs platform, which aims to qualify students and provide the necessary environment for new ideas and innovations to be turned into successful businesses, in addition to conduct awareness lectures about entrepreneurship.
The signed protocol took place within the framework of the Future University’s objectives to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) regarding the quality education (4th goal) decent work and economic growth (8th goal), and Partnerships for the goals (17th goal).
