FUE signs protocol of cooperation with SAP
With the help of Dr. Khaled El-Azazy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, FUE is always eager to provide the best educational services on a level of technological advances that match our modern era and serve the goal of digitalization that will establish FUE as a smart university. This is through raising the efficiency of information infrastructure to mimic prestigious international universities by setting agreements with major global companies in the field of technology. Based on this concept, Future University in Egypt signed a memo of understanding with SAP at the University's Headquarters in the Fifth Settlement.
The protocol covers the fields of teaching and scientific research. The convention aims to support the university's strategic plan to empower students to achieve their best through specialized training in the development of labor market skills, which is a top priority to the university in order to build cadres capable of developing society and reaching out to practical mechanisms to increase their global competitiveness. FUE works on achieving this through technological awareness and webinars for students as well as providing training pathways, platforms, and virtual laboratories on data science, artificial intelligence, software development, networking, information security, and digital arts, while organizing activities for distinguished students whether cultural, educational or developmental.
The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Abada Sarhan; President of Future University, and Engineer Mohamed Sami; Executive Director of SAP Egypt. In the presence of Professor Rim Osama, Executive Assistant to the General Manager of SAB Egypt, Engineer Naira Quraa, University Ambassador of SAB Egypt, Professor Burjit Yaqub, Sales Officer of SAB Egypt, and Prof. Dr. Awadullah Khalil, Undersecretary of Computing and Information Technology at Future University for Postgraduate and Scientific.
Prof. Dr. Abada Sarhan, President of Future University, stated that signing the protocol with SAP International is an outstanding achievement in order to train students in practice before graduating to keep pace with the labor market.
Eng. Mohammed Sami expressed his pleasure at this cooperation with the University of the Future, which has the most solid classifications among Egyptian universities. The cooperation will prepare a generation of young graduates with the latest international programs that qualify them for the domestic and international labor market with the support of sophisticated SAP technology and qualify them to join the international and domestic labor market with a growing demand for accredited SAP experts.
The role of SAP in training is significant, and hence SAP began to operate in the Egyptian market, it has increased the number of trainees accredited to meet the high demand of both our partners from local information technology companies and international companies operating in Egypt as well as meeting the regional labor market.
It is worth mentioning that Future University has received five stars in the QS World Ranking, which is the highest rating possible, as well as several advanced centers with many international rankings for quality education at global, Arab and African levels. According to the QS classification, Future University won the World 1001-1200 status for 2023 to top the list of universities for Egypt and become the first at the level of universities for Egypt, the fourth at the level of Egyptian public and private universities, and the tenth at the level of Africa. Furthermore, the university has obtained a 51st-60th place at the level of Arab universities according to the QS World Rankings for Science 2022.
Future University in Egypt is distinguished by various colleges and programs that suit the needs of the regional, local and international labor market through its pioneer colleges: The Faculty of Pharmacy School of Oral and Dental Medicine, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, as well as a well-equipped integrated teaching hospital for the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, and an integrated training plant for the Faculty of Pharmacy.
