the Start of Pharmacy Students Booming
In collaboration with The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), The Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (EPSF) society of Future University in Egypt (EPSF – FUE) launched its first scientific conference on the FUE campus on Thursday 19/05/2022.
FIP is the global body representing over 4 million pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists. FIP is a non-governmental organization that has been in official relations with the World Health Organization since 1948. The Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (EPSF)
(Arabic|الاتحاد المصري لطلاب الصيدلة) is an independent student organization representing about 85,000 pharmacy students in 37 pharmacy schools all over Egypt. It works under the supervision of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (EPSF the national FIP member. Since 1982 EPSF has also been a Full Member organization representing Egypt in the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation.
Under supervision of the Vice Dean Prof. Nabila EL Maraghy and the Society Academic Director Dr Asmaa Mandour , the EPSF – FUE invited three keynote speakers to talk about many interesting and trending topics:
1) Dr Islam Anan – CEO Accsight and Part-timer Lecturer of Pharmacoepidemiology, FUE and a talk about Study Design and PharmacoEpi understanding
2) Dr. Seif EL Hadidi – Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy, FUE and Taskforce member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) for a scientific lecture about Introduction to medical oncology and breast cancer
3) Dr Yasser Omar – Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy, FUE for a presentation about clinical pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacist’s personal growth.
The conference saw a record number of Pharmacy students from FUE that showed high interest and amazing interaction in the three talks.
