Future University in Egypt Hosts Technology Ambassadors Training Program in Collaboration with Haya Karima Initiative
As part of its commitment to advancing digital literacy and cybersecurity expertise
among Egyptian youth, Future University in Egypt (FUE) recently hosted participants in
the advanced phase of the Technology Ambassadors initiative. This initiative, led by the
Haya Karima Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and
Information Technology and Certiport, brings together over 13 Egyptian universities to
prepare students for a dynamic future in technology.
The advanced trainees undertook their first international examination in cybersecurity at
FUE, an essential milestone in their journey toward becoming skilled professionals in the
digital security field. Over 50 participants gathered at Future University to tackle this
international challenge, displaying their readiness to take on cybersecurity’s complex
demands. The training phase included a diverse array of modules across 13 different
training stations, designed to develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
Haya Karima reported that the outstanding students in this phase would move forward
to a Training of Trainers (TOT) program upon successful completion of their training,
preparing them to become future trainers and technology leaders. In this initial phase, a
total of 1,435 ambassadors have graduated, each step contributing to the vision of
empowering Egypt’s youth in the digital and technological domains.
This event received extensive media coverage from outlets like Al Watan News and Mansheet and was shared through videos and photos on social media platforms, including Facebook and the Extra News channel on YouTube.
