The seminar will be conducted by Eng. Ehab Metwaly, Telecommunication and subsection Automation System Specialist, PGESCo, and it will include the following topics:

- Introduction to Communication networks and systems for Power Utility Automat* LAN based SCADA Real Time network control

- Introduction to IEC 61850 International Standard
- IEC 61850 simulation tools
- Building the smart automation system using the IEC 61850 tools
- Applications in Engineering educational and research labs
