Best Policy Paper Competition
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ebada Sarhan, President of Future University in Egypt, and within the framework of the global initiative for education and youth empowerment in the field of combating corruption (GRACE), in cooperation between the Administrative Control Authority and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Future University in Egypt is pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Best Policy Paper Competition’.
The competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as teaching assistants, and will focus on the following topics:
Promoting integrity and combating corruption in the field of sports.
Digitization and automation of services and their role in combating corruption.
The role of cybersecurity in combating corruption.
Mechanisms to reduce financial corruption in the state's administrative apparatus.
Mechanisms to reduce financial corruption in the private sector.
Mechanisms to reduce corruption in civil society.
Applicants will be divided into research teams for undergraduate, graduate students, and teaching assistants, with each team consisting of a maximum of five members and a minimum of three. Training courses will be provided to participating teams on preparing policy papers. Research papers submitted by undergraduate and graduate students will be evaluated independently from those submitted by teaching assistants.
Financial prizes will be awarded for the best three policy papers from each university in each of the two participating categories. The best two papers from each category will also be selected for competition at the level of universities participating in the GRACE initiative.
