The application of computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) is used to produce implant abutments and frameworks from metal or ceramic materials. CAD/CAM permits production of precise and stable implant abutments, crowns and bridges. The precision of fit has been proven in several researches. Milling also allows fabrication from durable and aesthetic materials. However, it is still necessary the art of the dental technician to obtain high esthetic outcome.
