The University Department of Housing is responsible for providing students and their families, as well as the university administration, with an environment of saengineeringy, confidence, and security. Therefore, all occupants of university housing are expected to comply with all rules and regulations as set forth by the university administration. Students are expected to establish caring and respectable relationships with housing supervisors, workers, and with colleagues in a pattern of honest and respectable behavior. They must also abide by the times of leaving and returning to the university housing, as indicated in the instructions.
Student feedback to the housing authorities will be assessed on an ongoing basis and will be used to measure and improve the quality of housing services.

Alcohol, drugs, and intoxicants of any form are strictly prohibited. Their consumption or promotion can lead to immediate expulsion from the university housing and from the university.

Students are prohibited from possessing any firearm or incendiary device of a combustible material. The use of gas, oil, or solar heaters, inside any rooms, corridors and halls, is prohibited.

Any student who suffers from a disease should promptly visit the doctor, designated to university housing. In cases of emergency, the supervisor will take the necessary action. In all cases, public health and saengineeringy shall be taken into consideration.

All students shall be responsible for their personal belongings. The university or housing administration will only investigate cases of theft, where a student suspects a particular person.

At the end of each semester or if leaving the accommodation, the student must take all their belongings. The housing administration is not responsible for the loss of any items left behind.

The senior housing supervisor shall always retain an additional room key for security and saengineeringy purposes.

Students must refrain from creating any form of noise that could disturb other students, such noise as from a radio or television etc., or from shouting.

Students must remain quiet at night from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.

Students are required to dress decently within the university housing and it is strictly prohibited for them to leave their rooms in sleeping clothes.

The student must stay overnight in the room assigned to them. They must be in their room at inspection time.

It is not allowed for any student to alter the room assigned to them without the consent of the Department of Housing.

Residents cannot switch from one room to another without a written request to and the approval of the Department of Housing. This will only be approved in accordance with what rooms are available.

All students must exercise friendly and respectful relations with all colleagues, supervisors, and workers in the housing facilities.

Any offensive talk or action that is considered insulting or offensive to other students, to the university or its employees will not be tolerated.

Activities, such as the distribution of leaflets and requests for signatures or donations, without obtaining prior approval, are not allowed.

The reception of parents and visitors is limited to the reception hall. All visitors including family members shall enter their names in the registry, while noting that residents are not allowed to bring family or friends to the students’ rooms or the floors above.

It is not allowed for visitors from outside the university to visit after the hours stipulated for visits, as above.

The housing supervisor shall draw attention to the issue or violation by discussing it with the student.

The housing supervisor or appropriate member of staff may provide a warning to the student.

Students may have to make payment for damages to equipment or property if the damage is due to their negligence or recklessness.

The housing supervisor may inform the student’s guardian about any violation or issue, depending on the type and severity of the offence.

In some cases student may be expelled from university housing and possibly from the university itself.

The degree of any punishment shall depend on the type of offense committed by the student and shall be determined by superior members of staff after consulting the Housing Director.

The Housing Director may defer the issue to a disciplinary committee or the President of the university to take appropriate action.

Copies of all disciplinary problems and decisions shall be kept in the student file.

Students must abide by curfew times. Curfew is at 8:00 p.m. in winter and at 9:00 p.m. in summer. Thursday and Friday curfew is at 10:00 p.m.

Students who violate the curfew, without the prior permission of a superior submitted to and signed by the Director of Housing Administration

A failure to observe general moral, ethical and behavioral guidelines

Students found smoking or consuming drugs or alcohol within the university housing

Using any equipment or facilities of the university housing improperly, resulting in damage

Bringing visitors into living rooms or the dining hall without permission or outside the designated visiting times

The acquisition of the personal property of others without their permission

Disobeying the rules and regulations set forth by the university housing administration.
