Huawei Visit
In the context of the effort exerted by the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at FUE to bridge the gap between the academic curricula taught to students and the requirements of the current market, and the fruitful cooperation between FUE and Huawei Company, the university has received an invitation for a one-day visit to the company’s headquarter with the participation of a number of students from Faculty of Computers and Information Technology and Faculty of Engineering and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Ayman el-Sayed Khedr, Prof. Neveen Ibrahim Ghaly, Dr. Heba Mohsen and TA. Abdel Tawab Mohamed
Huawei started their program by welcoming the university invitees. Afterwards, the students were directed to a special hall dedicated to training and lecturing. The students attended a lecture titled “Huawei Portfolio” which highlighted the most important fields of the company. Then they attended another lecture titled “ICT overview - 4G carrier” which included an introduction to Huawei’s annual competition in the field of networking and computing.
After that, the students took an introductory tour for more than an hour and a half. In this tour, they visited various laboratories of the company and reviewed a lot of modern technologies and devices.
Finally, the university delegation thanked the representatives of the company for their invitation and busy program. And after taking some photos to document the visit, the university participants returned to the FUE campus.
