FUE Faculty Deans
The faculty deans at FUE lead the university’s mission of ensuring the provision of high quality educational programs. This is accomplished through the development and implementation of global standard protocols for the assessment of student learning outcomes, our annual performance reviews of all full -time professors and teaching assistants, and the teaching evaluations of all courses. Each dean represents their faculty in cooperation with the vice president for student affairs, ensures that policies for the conduct and discipline of students are enforced.
The deans also play a leadership role in guarding and promoting academic freedom and enforcing policies around academic integrity. They ensure that equal opportunity and diversity flourishes in their faculties and that any form of discrimination or harassment of individuals is not practiced or tolerated.

Deans are appointed for a maximum of five year terms by the Board of Trustees upon recommendation of the president or by a committee representing deans professors teaching assistants and students
