3rd FUE International Conference of Pharmaceutical Sciences
On the 9th to the 11th of February 2015, FUE held the 3rd International Conference of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Intercontinental City stars Hotel.
The 3rd FUE-ICPS is an innovative event, aimed to provide a stimulating scientific and cultural exchange that gave all the participants the opportunity to share their experiences, collaborations across industry and academia. It had a series of exclusive talks that were delivered over a diverse range of thematic sessions along with poster presentations and an associated commercial exhibition.
The opening ceremony hosted: Dr. Mostafa El-Sayed, Julius Brown Chair and Regents Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology USA as a speaker as well as he delivered a session about "Some Applications of Gold Nanoparticles in Medicine, in Drug Delivery and in the Determination of Drug Efficacy.", the Minister of Heath, Adel El Adawy, honored us by his presence, and Dr. Michael Murphy, President of University College Cork, who were given the FUE Shield by Mr. Khaled Azazy, FUE Chairman, Board of Trustees.
The three-day conference, focused on a wide range of very interesting topics through 9 scientific sessions related to all fields of pharmaceutical sciences as well as Pharmacy professions especially those directly related to Pharmaceutical industry and the health care system. The conference also held two workshops; one of them practically trained the participants on molecular modeling using the discovery Studio Program and the other trained specialists from the health care system on program for the bedside personalized medicines. There was a symposium that addressed the need for globalization and the pharmaceutical regulatory authority in Egypt to renew many of the already established concepts.
The event hosted more than 700 attendees. They exchanged ideas, expanded their networks with leading pharmaceutical scientists and clinicians and brought top international scientists and clinicians who presented cutting-edge discoveries, research and new therapeutic drugs. The event enabled the exhibitors to have increased visibility through branding and networking at the conference and gained direct access to a core audience of professionals and decision makers.
