The Future University Ceremony, “Light the Skies of New Cairo”
On November 14, 2008, Future University held its "Light the Skies of New Cairo" ceremony at its main campus in the Fifth Settlement. Superstars Ragheb Alaama and Elissa performed live concerts where nearly twenty thousand students attended.
As usual, it was a beautiful and exciting ceremony. Future University went out of its way and spared no expense or effort. The fireworks lighted the skies of New Cairo as Elissa came on to the stage. DJ Tamer Yahia offered house music as the host Osama Mounir inpoduced Mr. Khaled Azazy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University. Mr. Khaled welcomed the students and promised more events such as this in the future.
The audience cheering and clapping obviously had a wonderful time. Among those attending were many of Egypt’s ministers, ambassadors, artists and senior statesmen.
