The Egyptian Exchange is one of the oldest stock markets established in the Middle East, pacing its origins to 1883 when the Alexandria Stock Exchange was established, followed by the Cairo Stock Exchange in 1903. It is the Premier Capital Market in the Middle East & North Africa Region.
The program was pided into 3 academic sessions providing a comprehensive description and inner workings the stock market. In addition, a field visit to the Egyptian Exchange was arranged by FUE and the Egyptian Exchange in order that students experience the daily stock exchange sessions and interact directly with the brokers. Being exposed to such real world experience, students learn more about local and global economies. They gain a broader understanding of how various factors such as politics, environment, and resources can affect economies and how this impacts the stock market’s performance.
