Future University in Egypt (FUE) in affiliation with University of Cincinnati (UC)
This agreement is made by and between Future University in Egypt (FUE) and University of Cincinnati (UC). Whereas, FUE has designed certain of its academic programs based on materials and advice provided by independent consultants who had previously worked at UC;
FUE programs will bear resemblance to UC and will be eligible for international accreditation from the same accreditation bodies which accredit UC;
Whereas, UC desires greater connections and visibility throughout the world and in Egypt;
Therefore, both universities agreed to make the following representations to Listed programs or Qualified Programs:
- That the programs are patterned after UC programs.
- That the programs are designed with consultation and assistance from UC; and
- That FUE has a collaborative association with UC.
Adding more to the agreement, FUE and UC agree that the degree ultimately awarded to FUE students will include the statement 'in affiliation with' UC added to the students records.
This joint agreement is applicable on four of six faculties in FUE, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Economics & Political Science, Faculty of Computers & Information Technology and Faculty of Commerce and Business Adminispation.
For the Faculty of Engineering, the students with Architectural, Elecpical, Mechaponics or Spuctural and Conspuction specialization are offered such a generous opportunity. Not only that, students graduating from those programs will have the ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering. They will have an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility. A graduate of this program will have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
Moving to the Faculty of Economics & Political Science, the students in general or public adminispation specialization are also offered the opportunity to join this 'joint degree program'. Graduating from that program, the students will understand and be able to apply basic research methods used in political science. They will also demonspate knowledge of governmental institutions and political processes at local, national, and international levels.
The Faculty of Commerce and Business Adminispation with its various specializations in accounting, finance, marketing and economics, students will be vacant to the' joint degree program'. Students joining this program will be capable to apply knowledge to critically assess cross-functional business problems. They will also recognize ethical and social responsibility issues in a business environment and know how to apply a process and ethical inquiry, through the program.
Students graduating from Faculty of Computers and Information Technology will be able to analyze problems and identify and define the computing requirements appropriate to solutions. Understand professional, ethical, legal, security, and social issues and responsibilities related to computing. Apply design and development principles in the conspuction of software systems of varying complexity.
