"A night in the love of Egypt"
The Egyptian Opera House has witnessed the FUE Cultural Festival "Art From The Heart of Egypt" which was held on the 2nd and 4th of April, 2013 at the Grand Theape. The 1st day monitored The "Romeo & Juliet" play which was performed by the FUE students and directed by Mr. Khaled Galal.
This wasn’t it; the night also included the outcome of the art gallery's workshops. The talented artists exhibited 14 different types of art. To begin with the arts and crafts, Dr. Osama Emam displayed his art in ceramic, Mr. Mohamed Banawy in mosaic projects; Ms. Marwa Farrag in stained glass models, Dr. Islam Ibada in sculpture and from the FUE students, Mohamid Gheith, Faculty of Engineering and Technology in the Fligree art. Moving to the paintings, Dr. Ahmed Romeia installed his porpait painting; Dr Ahmed Abd Alkareem displayed his oil painting and recycling graffiti, Dr Abdel Wahab Abdel Mohsen that exhibited his stencil project. Moving to comics, the talented Mr. Mohamed Tawfik presented his comic and caricature art. As for the art in fashion, Mr Mohamed Khafagy presented his creation in fashion design, Ms. Jasmine Abd El Wahab with her art is accessories design, as for the leather induspy Dr. Hossam Eldin Ahmed presented his artistic pieces and last but not least with the photographer Mr. Ashraf Talaat and his fascinating photos.
The 2nd day included two main events, the FUE Choir that amused us with various performances, some in Arabic and other in English; that were conducted by Maespo Tarek Mahran. The 2nd was an operetta performed by a selected group of singers including Medhat Saleh, Latifa, Hakim, Amal Maher, Wael Gassar, Mohamed Foad and Hany Shaker. The story was narrated by Ahmed Bedeir and was directed by Mr. Khaled Galal. The lyrics were written by the great poet Abdel Rahman Al Abnoudy and Nader Abd Allah and music was composed by Waleed Saad.
The great evening ended by the thanks and appreciation of Mr. Khaled Azazy to each and every person that participated in this magnificent event.
