The caravan also distributed free toothbrushes and toothpaste as part of an awareness campaign on the importance of brushing teeth.
Talking about their participation in the international event, Ms. Manal Khalil, Student Life Director, said “Community service is a big part of FUE’ commitment to the Egyptian community. One of the core values that we hope that all of our students leave the university with is the importance of giving back to those less fortunate than us. We are proud to be able to be part of an initiative that advocates for children to express their artistic talents as well as providing hope and creating community spirit.”
As part of their contribution to the event FUE’s arts and cultural sections supported children in drawing activities and took part in the music show. Students from the social services section also distributed free blankets in preparation for the winter in addition to clothes, toys and school bags for the children living in Borollos village.
