FUE Academic Cooperation Agreement with UC

As an effectuation step to FUE's academic cooperation agreement with the University of Cincinnati (UC), FUE has the pleasure to announce UC's Summer Professional Orientation Program that will be taking place the first 3 weeks of August 2015.

The program is designed for students at Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Economics & Political Science, Faculty of Computers & Information Technology and Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration.

Only top 5 students will be selected from each of the mentioned faculties and will be fully exempted from tuition fees ($6450/ student). Each student will receive a formal certificate upon completion.

Students in their first and final year of study are NOT eligible to participate in the program.
A male and female supervisor from FUE staff will accompany the students during their stay in UC.
FUE Board of Trustees Chair Advisors will welcome FUE students upon their arrival to UC.


The Program offers a "professional experience" with a curriculum of six hours daily instruction covering entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, personal development, intercultural communication, emotional intelligence as well as overviews of engineering, business, computing and political science. The professional journey will also involve visits to corporations as well as evening cultural events and one weekend trip to Washington, DC.

- Tuesday evenings reserved for potential cultural visits (Museum Center, Cincinnati Zoo, 4th of July Concert, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Cincinnati Reds Baseball, Duck boat Tour on the Ohio River, visit to Outlet Mall)
- Thursday afternoons reserved for potential corporate visits (GE, Toyota Motors, Basco, Citibank, Ethicon, etc.)
 

Expenses:

- On-Campus Accommodation $1000 (Total cost of three weeks residence)
- Two nights in Washington, DC $700 (including transportation and hotel)
- Tuition fees – Exempted
- Internal Transportation to six events – Exempted
- Two cultural/social outings – Exempted


Students will be paying their flight tickets, Visa issuance fees and International Medical Insurance covering the whole travel period
