COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH TOP US UNIVERSITY
Thanks to the efforts of Dr. Tony Perzigian, FUE Board of Trustees Chair Advisor, Future University in Egypt (FUE) has signed a comprehensive agreement with the University Of Cincinnati (USA). The agreement includes the undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration, the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, the Faculty of Engineering & Technology and the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology. In order to achieve international standards and international accreditation, FUE programs will be upgraded to match those at the University of Cincinnati. FUE Graduation Certificates, signed by UC, will include the logos of both universities and indicate the affiliation with UC.
On 29 and 30 October 2013, FUE hosted a delegation of engineering and business Deans and Professors from Cincinnati. The delegation also included Dr. Kristi Nelson, Senior Vice Provost for Academic Planning and Dr. Raj Mehta, Vice Provost International and Professor of Marketing. Productive meetings were held with FUE administrators, professors, TA’s and students. Plans for the updating of FUE programs were developed. In addition, the partnership will enable FUE students and TA’s to visit Cincinnati for post-graduate studies and internships.
Ranked among the top-25 public research universities in the USA, the University of Cincinnati is a highly distinguished university and prestigious partner for FUE. This partnership is helping to establish FUE’s leadership position among private Egyptian and Middle East Universities. For FUE students, it means much “added value” and international recognition to the attainment of their degrees.
It is noteworthy to mention that FUE Board of Trustees Chair Advisors Dr. Adel Sakr and Dr. Tony Perzigian held leading academic and administrative positions at the University of Cincinnati before recruitment to FUE.
