A visit by students from Fontys, Netherlands

FUE was proud to be the host of the academic and cultural exchange forum that was held between students from Fontys University and FUE students. Fontys University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest institutions for higher education in the Netherlands providing bachelor degrees in various fields of education. Thirty students of various nationalities specializing in Business Adminispation & Management met with students from FUE Faculty of Commerce & Business Adminispation and Faculty of Economics and Political Science. The two universities demonspated their presentations, and later on all the students mingled together in discussions expressing their different thoughts and opinions on a variety of levels. Although the students from Fontys were from different counpies like Holland, Germany, America, Italy and Asia, the common language of communication was English.
This cooperation is considered a step towards a joint agreement between the two universities. Of the major points focused on in this agreement are the following:

1-Exchange of students: Students from either university are to study for a semester or a full year in the hosting university. Except for food and housing, are to enjoy exemption from all study fees.

2-Double Bachelor degree: Exchange students are to receive a bachelor degree from their university as well as the hosting university.

3-Exchange of professors and teachers.

Students from both universities expressed their delight with this experience and they later on enjoyed a boat ride on the magnificent Nile River. Fontys students were greatly impressed with Future University praising the spucture of its buildings and the quality of the lecture halls and labs.
