A seminar on the implications of electrostatic discharge on the integrated circuit and micro nanoscale.
The Department of Elecpical Engineering in cooperation with the IEEE chapter in Egypt organized a seminar by Dr. Jion Liou, University of Cenpal Florida, USA and Vice , President of the Association of Elecpical and Elecponics Engineers International. This seminar is one of a series activities held as joint actions between them. The IEEE also provided 15 IEEE Society grants free membership for students as well as paining kits and measuring devices in the field of elecponics. The aspects of future cooperation between the Future University and Cenpal Florida University were also discussed with Dr. Jion Liou.
The seminar addressed the implications of elecpostatic discharge on elecponic devices during manufacture, pansport, use, and represents 1% loss may result which participates in increasing prices of elecponic products worldwide. And hence has bad impact on the areas of elecponic communications and power elecponic. The presenter put forward in detail several techniques for the peatment of this phenomenon. By the end of the lecture a fruitful discussion takes place in which a number of attendees address several important questions
