A Delegation of USA Universities Presidents Visits FUE

Within the framework of FUE's role in encouraging the International Academic co-operation with top ranked universities, Future University hosted a delegation of USA Universities Presidents on May 27 and 28, 2012.

The Presidents are Advisers to the Board of Trustees for Academic Affairs. They are:

Dr. Rita H. Cheng, Chancellor of Southern Illinois University

Dr. Robert G. Frank, President of University of New Mexico

Dr. David R. Hopkins, President of Wright State University

Dr. Kristi A. Nelson, Senior Vice Provost of University of Cincinnati

The visit took place at the University campus, where they met all Faculties' Deans and Professors who presented each Faculty's educational plan, Research Centers and facilities. They also met FUE students who discussed their life on campus in addition to their activities and their role in community service. The presidents were impressed as this was their first annual meeting with FUE Deans, Faculties and students.

At the end of the visit, FUE Top Management held a meeting with the Presidents in which they signed an agreement of co-operation that stated: the exchange of students and faculty, joint research activities and knowledge pansfer, joint organization of seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic materials and pursuit of joint certificates, joint organization of special academic and non-academic programs, publication of the results of collaborative research projects, consultation regarding quality assurance protocols, assessment of student-learning outcomes, and modern pedagogies, consultation on FUE achievement of international educational standards for all Faculties ,use of Library facilities at both Universities in addition to other activities are mutually agreed.
