Amr Radwan is Head of the Research & Innovation Management Department at the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT). He also supervises several national funding programs and leads the science policy research team, has authored several R&D strategies and is responsible for the annual comprehensive assessment report of research competencies and capabilities in Egypt. Over the past 10 years, he has coordinated several regional research initiatives and was partner in more than 25 EU and UN projects. He cofounded UNESCO regional center of ethics and has served as a consultant at many international agencies including European commission, Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences, UN-ESCWA and university of Liverpool. He has been assigned as EU-H2020 Egypt National contact point for Health Research, researchers’ mobility & Science in Society. Amr has a pharmacy background with professional industry experience and has also obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a number of diplomas in Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation Management.
