Prof. Dr. Mostafa ElSayed is the Julius Brown Chair and Regents' Professor and Director of the Laser Dynamics Laboratory at Georgia Institute of Technology. He was awarded the 2007 U.S. National Medal of Science by US President for both his research and his humanitarian efforts of scientific exchange among other countries. He is Graduate of Florida State University (1959). Awards: King Faisal International Prize, Irving Langmuir Award and more. Professor El-Sayed was an Alexander von Humboldt Senior Fellow, Germany (1982), a Visiting Professor at the University of Paris, an Alfred P. Sloan as well as a Guggenheim Foundation Fellow, a Fairchild Fellow at the California Institute of Technology and a Miller Visiting Professor at U.C. Berkley.
